The Gloryang Epaper Tag can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google's Find My Device network, and the owner will not receive further updates on its current location.

 

If you receive an alert on your mobile device that an unknown Gloryang Epaper Tag is traveling with you, you can make it play a sound through the notification to help you locate it. After finding the item, follow the steps below to disable it. The owner will no longer receive location updates, and the tag will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.

 

Method 1: Disable by pressing and holding the button

  • Locate the button on the back of the Gloryang Epaper Tag.
  • Press and hold the button for about 5 seconds — the tag will start beeping at 1‑second intervals.
  • Within 2 seconds after you hear the 3rd beep, release the button. 

Method 2: Disable by removing the battery

  • Insert a small tool into the gap on the side of the Gloryang Epaper Tag.
  • Carefully pry open the device.
  • Remove the CR2032 coin battery.
  • Close the tag by pressing the lid firmly back into place.

 

How to re-enable the Gloryang Epaper Tag?

Method 1: Press the button

  • Press and hold the button on your Gloryang Epaper Tag for 1 second.
  • Within 2 seconds after you hear the 1st beep, release the button.

Method 2: Put the battery back in

  • Insert a small tool into the gap on the side of the Gloryang Epaper Tag.
  • Carefully pry open the device.
  • Place a CR2032 coin battery inside with the positive (+) side facing up — you will hear 2 beeps to confirm power-on.
  • Close the tag by pressing the lid firmly back into place.
