Q: The printed handwriting is faint, the barcode is blurry, and the QR code cannot be scanned.

A: 1: PDF/Browser printing turns on "Adapt to border printing, automatic scaling"

Fault description: PDF tags are forced to scale, barcode pixels are compressed, and edges are distorted; QR code squares are deformed, causing the scanning device to fail to recognize.

Solution: Turn off the [Adapt to Border Printing] and [Auto Scale] options in the print settings.

2: The original image resolution is too low and the image is severely compressed.

Fault description: Directly taking screenshots of labels and low-definition images from the mobile phone and importing them into the APP for printing causes the QR code dot matrix to be lost, the text to appear jagged, and the barcode to be disconnected.

Important note: QR codes do not allow low-resolution images to be stretched or enlarged.

Processing method: Use original high-definition label material, do not use screenshots or overly compressed images for printing.

3: Inferior thermal label paper/thermal coating with poor sensitivity

Fault description: The color temperature of the low-price label is too high, and the writing is light under the same printing parameters; the backing paper has uneven light transmission, and the printing depth is inconsistent. The chemical reaction of expired and damp thermal paper fails and the color development is weak.

Treatment method: Replace with qualified new thermal label paper, and store consumables in a moisture-proof manner.

4: Mix non-thermal paper (coated paper, ordinary copy paper

Fault explanation: There is a misunderstanding that "any paper can be printed without ink". If non-thermal paper is used, the printing will show almost no color.

Solution: Replace the thermal label paper that is suitable for this machine

5: Label thickness is too thin/too thick

Fault description: When the paper is too thick, the print head cannot adhere closely to the paper surface and is heated unevenly. One side will be clear and the other will be light in color.

Solution: Select label consumables within the thickness range supported by the printer.

6: The print head is dirty (glue, paper scraps, and dust cover the heating point)

Fault description: Partial whitening, vertical white bars, and broken lines in the barcode appear when printing; the QR code is partially missing, and scanning fails intermittently.

Treatment method: Turn off the power and wait for the device to cool down, then use an alcohol swab to wipe and clean the print head.

7: The pressure of the print head is insufficient and the upper cover is not fully fastened.

Fault description: The machine cover is loose, the print head and the label are not tightly attached, and the overall printing color is light.

Solution: Fully snap the cover into place and confirm that the cover is locked

8: The print head is aging and the local heating element is damaged.

Fault description: White bars and light lines continue to appear at fixed locations. The fault still cannot be improved after cleaning.

Solution: Contact after-sales service.
