Select an encryption method that includes WPA2.
Note: Routers supporting WPA3 may come configured with WPA3 active by factory default. Verify that your computer can successfully communicate with the router under your selected encryption mode.
• Using WPA2/WPA3
The authentication method, Wi-Fi password, and dynamic encryption type MUST be identical across the router, printer, and computer.
• AES Requirement: AES encryption (offering higher security than TKIP) is required. The printer does NOT support TKIP. If your router is configured to 'TKIP only', connection attempts will fail.
• Supported Security Protocols:
- WPA-PSK (WPA-Personal)
- WPA2-PSK (WPA2-Personal)
- WPA3-SAE (WPA3-Personal)
- OPEN (Unsecured network)
- WEP
